About the Manual

This Policies Manual has been prepared to give our full-time and part-time employees general information about the company. All employees are required to sign a Statement of Understanding that they have read and understand the company's policies. All policies are dated, including revision dates.

When a change in policy is instituted, you will receive email notice with the change. You will be required to review the change and sign the email, returning it to the personnel manager.

Feel free to consult your supervisor if you have questions. This manual supersedes all previous employee handbooks, practices, procedures or policies, either written or unwritten, which have previously been in effect.

Designed as a communication tool for staff and managers, this manual offers an approach for the administration of personnel policies, thereby eliminating (we hope) difficulties arising from an employee's incorrect understanding of policy or lack of proper communication. The materials in this manual do not necessarily cover all matters that may arise, but we have attempted to address all day-to-day situations of general applicability to all employees. We reserve the right to make changes at any time, with or without notice, and to interpret these policies and procedures at the discretion of Graphtek.

NO PROVISION IN THIS MANUAL IS INTENDED TO CREATE A CONTRACT BETWEEN GRAPHTEK AND ANY EMPLOYEE OR TO ELIMINATE THE RIGHTS OF THE COMPANY AND ITS EMPLOYEES TO TERMINATE THE EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT CAUSE. THIS POLICIES MANUAL IS A GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY, TO BE MODIFIED AND APPLIED BY THE COMPANY AT ITS DISCRETION.
