Freelancing

Your time away from the office is your own. If you choose to freelance or take on a second job, the Company requests you make the following considerations:

• Notify the owner of your activity. If the activity adversely affects your work for the Company, you will be asked to refrain from it.

• Provide and use your own materials and supplies. If the freelance work is for a charitable or nonprofit organization, the Company may be willing to allow reasonable use of Company equipment/supplies providing you make a formal, request to the owner.
  

• Do not freelance during Company working hours.

• Do not freelance for direct competition of the Company. If you are unsure if the person or company for whom you are freelancing is a direct competitor, please consult the owner
  

Violation of these considerations shall result in discipline up to and including termination.
