Problem: WholesaleHats.com blue bar is missing
Solution: Reset the website.
If they call complaining that blue bar is not working reset by: http://www.wholesalehats.com/reset.cfm . Also, if the client can login to CMS, the have a have button to reset.
Problem: Client is unable to access their site files (static website)
Solution: Add their IP to our server white-list
- Request client to locate the IP address for the machine that will need access to the server.
- Go to customer.hosting.com and initiate live chat, explaining to the agent that you need to add an IP to our server white-list.
- Send the following note, plugging in the clients' IP address:
'Our firewall blocks ssh access to all of our VMS (201134-2, 201134-3, 201134-5, and 201134-10) except for a handful of IP addresses. I'd like to add IP address: [HERE] to that white-list.'
