Workplace Guidelines

Conduct All members of the Company are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Unbecoming conduct such as vulgarity, profanity, intoxication or any other conduct that is disturbing to co-workers or disturbing to the good public relations of the Company shall not be tolerated. As representatives of the Company, employees' behavior and demeanor reflect credit or discredit upon the Company. Your courteous treatment, professional appearance and willing assistance are required.

Dress Code While the Company has no particular requirements for dress, the clothing of all employees must be professional, neat and clean, and appropriate for the type and nature of the duties assigned to the employee. All employees are expected to dress appropriately for any situation that may arise that day. Management will have final say on whether dress is appropriate should a question arise.

Work Areas It is the request of the Company that work areas shall be kept clean and orderly at all times. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring their work areas are maintained. Cleaning staff comes once a week to do regular trash and recycling collection and office vacuuming. If you have specific instructions for the cleaning crew relative to your work area, leave a prominently placed note for them.

Equipment Company equipment is expensive and requires careful handling at all times. Equipment or furniture needing repair or replacement should be reported promptly to your immediate supervisor. Equipment being removed from the building for any reason must be signed out by the employee responsible for its primary use and maintenance at the authorization of the immediate supervisor and returned according to schedule to ensure its availability for other employees who may need it. Each employee is expected to take necessary precautions to protect equipment/information in their work areas (shut down computer equipment, lock files, etc.).

Company equipment shall not be for personal use.
